Hello again, I am Dr.Zema. Recently while going over some paperwork a lady who was franticly scratching her skin entered the clinic. She said that she had itchy skin for over a day and that her name was Mrs.Blotch Skin. She was especially scratching behind her ear, knees and elbows. When she sat down she said that she had recently fallen into a bush and that it was poison ivy. Aparently her family had a history of asthma and eczema. Suddenly she sneezed loudly and started to get a runny nose. She had asthma and eczema. In a minute or so I realized she had atopic eczema and contact dermatitis since atopic eczema is hereditary and contact dermatitis has to do with allergies. When I looked behind her ear the skin was oozing and dry. I told her for treatment that she has to moisturize her skin frequently and that she could not use soaps, perfume and powders, and of course to try and control the scratching. My expected outcome was that after a week or so, with moisturizing and other things, that her skin would have gone back to normal. When she came back in a week the eczema had almost completely disappeared. She was glad I could help her. So that was one of my succesful patient reports.

Hello everyone! I am Dr.Zema and I specialize in Eczema. Eczema occurs on the skin and is also known as dermatitis. There are many types of Eczema. The common ones are Atopic Eczema which is inherited, Contact dermatitis which is an allergy, Xerotic eczema which has to do with dry skin, Seborrhoeic demaitis which is most seen on infants and named cradle cap and another name for it is dandruff. Uncommon types of eczema are: Dyshidiosis which is a type of hand eczema, Discoid eczema which is often on the lower legs and many other types. Some treatments are to control scratching, apply moisturizing cream, reduce skin inflammation and try to prevent more eczema. I recently worked on a patient named Mrs.Blotch Skin.

Hello everyone, I am Dr.Zema. I specialize in Eczema, which is when the skin gets irritated and often turns red. I was born in Holland and lived there for 10 years. Then i moved to England and lived there for 15 years. During that time my dad died and I had to take care of my younger sister since my mom had to work. I learned a lot during that period of time since my sister got Eczema quite a few times. After I completed school I went to the University of Cambridge, I studied there for 4 years. Then I went to Harvard Medical School for 4 years. Lastly I did training for 30 months in the Kaya skin clinic. An award that I have won is the Lasker award which is a medical award for understanding, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and even cure for the sicknesses in the world.I also wrote a book called "Eczema."Now I am 30 and live with two dogs in Malaysia and work in the G.I.R.Z. clinic, my colleagues are Dr.Grow who does growth disorders, Dr.Retna who works on Pink Eye and Dr.Ires who also specializes in the eye. One of my recent patients is Mrs.Blotch Skin.

The pupil is a hole to get light into the retina, the retina has 2 special moter nearons into it they are called Cones and Rods, they send messages to the brain via the optic nerve.
The eye is very complecated, because when you look at something that is close to you your lens will be curved, but when your lens is flatter you will be looking at something far away, and thats the problem that Sam Myeye has because his lens is always curved so he cant read far away items.

    Endocrine, Immune, and Nervous Systems
Note: The Grade 6 students have been studying body systems. As a means to show their learning, they have made this wiki page. Each student had to pick an area of medical specialty and find other students to join together in clincs. Within their clinic, each doctor (student) had to create a brief fictional biography based on research about how one becomes a medical specialist. They had to create a page the describes the knowledge needed in their area of specialty (e.i., how the eye works) and list some common ailments and related treatments. They had to give a detailed description of one illness and its cure in the form of a fictional patient report.
